Do you offer services for both the residential and business customer?
Safeway Self Storage is a leader in the industry and has services for both the residential and business customer.
Can I buy boxes and tape from Safeway Self Storage?
Yes. Safeway Self Storage facilities offer a wide variety of moving boxes and packing tape.
Do you have a manager on site?
Safeway Self Storage has an on-site Manager to assist customers. The Manager's office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 3 pm, Saturday, 8 am to 1 pm.
Do you have security?
Yes, SSS does have security coded gate entrance and exit. In addition, the facility does have security cameras.
Can anybody drive onto this property or do you need a PIN number?
Each customer is given a PIN number which is the only way to gain access to the facility.
Does Safeway Self Storage have climate controlled units?
No, the facility does not have any climate controlled units.
What is a roll-up door?
Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage. They are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward, similar to the motion of a garage door. Roll-up doors allow you to maximize the usage of your space.
Do I get a lock when I rent a unit?
Each customer has to supply their own lock for the storage unit they rent.
What is a drive-up unit?
Drives up units are storage units that have direct access. All storage units in the facility have drive up access, which makes it convenient to load and unload items located in the units.
What's the difference between office hours and gate hours?
Office hours are the time when the Manager is on-site. The office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 3 pm, Saturday 8 am to 1 pm. Gate access hours are the time each day when Safeway Self Storage customers can access the facility. Safeway customers can access their storage units every day from 6 am to 9 pm.
How far in advance can I rent a unit?
We give you the flexibility to reserve a unit up to 30 days in advance to help you plan ahead.
What are the payment terms?
Safeway Self Storage strives to make your storage experience as hassle free as possible. Our leases are month to month leases. The rent is due on the first day of the month. If payment is not received by the tenth day of the month, the lease provides for the assessment of late charges. Payment terms are by cash, check and credit cards.
Do you accept credit cards?
We accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover.
Can I pay my bills online?
Yes, paying your bill online is available through the account login, via PayPal.
What sizes are available and how do I pick my size?
We offer a wide range of sizes to accommodate your needs. Sizes range from 4x5, or 20 square feet, to 25x28, or 700 square feet.
